S.M.S Interiors is a boutique, full-service residential design firm in New York City, assisting clients across a broad range of challenges — from design consultations and furnishing procurement to the selection of architectural details, hardware, plumbing, and lighting.
We work alongside architects, builders, and contractors on renovations and new builds to create individualized, deeply personal homes.
Born in Europe, raised on the East Coast, and formally trained in New York City, Sabina studied Interior Design at The Art Institute of New York City and worked with AD100 and ELLE Decor A-List decorator Tom Scheerer.

The Plan
We begin with spatial planning, furniture layout, and the architectural details that shape a room — how each space is lived in, how you move through it, and where light and life gather. Everything that follows is built upon this foundation.
Furnishings & Bespoke Pieces
With the plan in place, we curate and source furnishings, blending collected and vintage finds with custom pieces designed when a room asks for something all its own.
Fabrics & Textures
Then come the fabrics and textures, the layers that give a room its feeling. Each material is chosen for the story it carries and for the way it will soften, patina, and wear beautifully over time.
Fixtures & Finishes
Lighting, hardware, plumbing, and finishes are drawn together with care, so that nothing feels like an afterthought and every surface belongs.
Realization
Finally, we coordinate the trades, manage the build, and style the finished home down to the last object — a space made for casual grandeur and comfort.
